We understand that sometimes unexpected events may occur, and appointments may need to be canceled or rescheduled. To ensure that we can continue to provide the highest quality service to all our clients, we have established the following policies:
Cancellation and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide us with at least 24 hours’ notice. This allows us to offer the appointment time to other clients who may be on our waiting list.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment time, you will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the total service cost. This fee will be charged to the credit card on file or will be sent to you as an invoice. This fee must be paid before you can schedule your next appointment with us.
No-Show Policy
If you fail to show up for your appointment and do not provide any prior notice, you will be charged a no-show fee of 100% of the total service cost. This fee will be charged to the credit card on file or will be sent to you as an invoice. This fee must be paid before you can schedule your next appointment with us.
Late Policy
We understand that sometimes unexpected delays may occur. However, if you arrive more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, we may not be able to accommodate your full service. If this occurs, we will try to modify your service to fit the remaining time, or we may need to reschedule your appointment. If we need to reschedule your appointment due to lateness, you will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the total service cost. This fee will be charged to the credit card on file.
Credit Card On File
To secure your appointment, we require a valid credit card on file for all services longer than 1 hour. Your credit card will not be charged unless you violate our cancellation policy.
Deposit
For larger services, we may require a deposit to secure your appointment. Deposits are non-refundable and will be applied towards the cost of your service.

Children Policy
At our hair salon, we strive to provide a peaceful and relaxing environment for all of our clients. To maintain this atmosphere and ensure the comfort of all of our clients, we have a “No Children” policy in place.
Children under the age of 10 are not permitted in the salon unless they are receiving a service and are accompanied by an adult. This policy is in place to ensure the safety and well-being of all clients, as well as to prevent disruption to our services.
We understand that finding childcare can sometimes be challenging, but we kindly ask that you make arrangements before your appointment to ensure that you can fully enjoy your salon experience.
Customer Satisfaction and Feedback Policy
At Detammy The Salon, our foremost priority is to deliver unparalleled service and ensure that every client’s experience aligns with our high standards of excellence. We understand the value of your trust in our team and strive to meet and exceed your expectations at every visit.
Should there arise a moment when the services rendered do not meet your satisfaction, we earnestly encourage you to communicate this to us. We request the courtesy of being informed within a 48-hour window following your service, enabling us to promptly address and rectify any issues to your satisfaction. Please convey your feedback directly to us via email at info@detammy.com, including photographic evidence if applicable, or through a direct phone call. While we do not offer refunds, we are committed to taking the necessary steps to ensure your concerns are resolved to your satisfaction.
Personal Belongings Policy
Detammy The Salon takes great care during all services to protect your personal belongings. However, please note that we cannot assume responsibility for any unintended damage, such as spills or splashes from coloring agents or water, to your items during your visit. For added precaution, we offer the option of wearing a protective smock/apron before your service commences. This request can be made to your stylist upon your arrival. Additionally, we suggest considering leaving non-essential personal items at home or securely stored in your vehicle to further safeguard against potential damage.
